Do you ever wonder why a coach does what he does. Once is coaching philosophy. From offense or defense to special teams it's time for the coach's corner. Brought you by the brightest Stratton college athletic department. Welcome back. This said news brought you by Brian strait college athletics. And take a wines. Take a lights they can so much for the use music next Friday. Ever 24 but she tangle light's play up and under at 930 no cover to go see them quite. A couple of homestead football coaches in that band including my son what John Potter so get tangled lines. At the up and under next Friday at 930. If you wanna go on watched them play we're now joined by the assistant that's what coach. At Wisconsin Lutheran high school CO Whiteside coaches could to meet you how aria nice to meet you too glad to be here yet they should come and over. I appreciate that art for -- segment for segment Geathers going to be typical one for us. They had best booklets that you W walker shot is joining us at emblem jockey Adam warrior today. American owner. You know coach we talked off the year and I wanted to have yards is to talk about this great season that you guys are happen. Puts it there was a tragedy. Here with one your players. CG Edwards. Would left a big impact on your campus. And his life was taken way you wait too early on this last week. And I don't we we both talked about we don't there's not a book written how do. Approach the subject like this this is a young man from everything I know and I've got some kids I coach now that you sit great things about this yet. Ed you said the same thing coach in and you know he was gunned down he is he's no wanna win this is younger brother the same thing. And coach I don't know what to tell you how to get through something like this other than let's talk about it but this young man note. And led his gambling know that were praying for him. For for his family for your family at UW walked Shaw and im really sore that you have to be going through this. I think you know I mean it's been a tough week and copper you know for me personally but I cut our players. And think the carpet thing at the back of my players and we got a women's team that quote that this guy who got crap and it is their teachers. And you're ready to see him every single day. And you know now it is gone. I do what and M and coach after pitcher you're inciting this when when Adam and I were talking off the year of a couple of days ago. He made this comment and that's when it's that you after a month. He said look some of our kids and locker room. As we had this discussion talking about this as a as a basketball family said this is sort rookies have never had any but he might light. That died before and he's got a couple of kids in the city that said this is got to stop this is the fourth round that I've had that it's gotten killed. It's sold. There's two ends of the spectrum here we've got some kids that are saying I've had this never happened before and then we've got some other kids you say. This has got to stop because that note too many kids and I'm wondering your feeling on that. That definitely can be sock and experience. In looking at if you have players from the city vs the suburbs. Definitely they're different experiences plays a major role but the opportunity to to bind together as a fairly. Is amazing and a lot of times that's when you see players really be able to so empathy. And put themselves in a different situation for someone else but you're right he's it's just the typical thing Tom but this team is getting ready. You go to goal and and and played a big team today it didn't begin today. And I don't know hollow you can expect beat these kids to be. Fully there mentally when they're so used to see in this young man West Coast central grad. Big personality. Nice kid from what I understand always smile on his face and he's in no water with us. And you was it as a head coach and that stand in front of these guys it seemed look we need to play well today we need to continue to do this. Adam are you going to be able to do that or you believed to get up in front of these guys say. Okay let's let's we need to put this aside for couple of hours and go play while. Yeah I figured it. You know a lot of things going on here for marketed the remember him. Honor him. But I look it is I think the easiest time that we all had dealing with this is one we've actually been on the practice court. And playing in getting after each other and working hard and break a sweat so. And I think everybody's been dreading what happened paper you know all week I think want the ball goes up. Well we commode nerves go away and they can do. No but coming out and implement our path and just play. I'd do some research on on your team. And for this coach's corner what we normally do is ask coach for it's people wrote you guys do it daily basis we're gonna bypass that. I I I love the fact that your rosters all kids from this area get a chance to play UW walk shot. Get a chance to play with some some guys that they use to compete with from different schools. And I I really like the job from from from afar that you guys are doing it give you walk shut so congratulations with that. And you think you yet we recruit local car and kind of know what the guys who were rivals who come together and become rampant though you know the a year or two later. And what is your background where did you go to school in Anaheim which you that you give you walk so. Yes I graduated. One up here today. And this years ago I got Olympic over four years. But I graduated. Terrible then they credential. And that and I help in the auto workers are left for about five years and then. This job opened up and put now and decided to retire I've been here for my fourth here now. The end of we've we're doing assisting coaches day here at and it's deeper part kept Arctic. Couple assistant coaches Bryant bent from Mets were camps Roni from. From Sussex Hamilton and now CO Whiteside from Wisconsin Lutheran in Baghdad these heroic young guys are the young guns of of high school basketball. And I believe that all of them have. Have his passion to become a head coach one day. What what kind of words of wisdom would you give to an assistant coach at the high school level. Who's looking to bull over six inches on defense to his left. To take over program. While I. Nine field. Prepare yourself now because when you get that other going to be about you know forty different. Have to hand that you weren't used to be before slipped a lot of time commitment. Lot of energy. You know make sure your your home like trade but he of people he just he never did it now. Now he won't be home that much type of thing but actually. I think everybody prepares to vote differently you know for mile. Pitching for five years to get this and appearing in eight up that you know and that are thinner than that and things like that so. Think every system they are here are coaches. Probably preparing mentally a repeat of game. In a sudden gotten had coaches that come with the territory. And under for a we do that under her breath about it yeah who. They had a moment to cut you loose good luck with everything today understand that there is say basketball community out here praying. Three you win at your basketball family that side you can find the words today to get through this. And I I don't wish this upon anybody I wish you well the data Kent lot of offers coming out your way. Thank you appreciate you vets Denver got he had bats while coaching UW walked shot. Before we get to break. Let's get out without might be silly head that's what coach if you walking he's just leaving his CD mediate and let's find out who got. Who got what seed they got coach Rory today Mike. Yeah well. Good takes a lot for Kolb it's your time. Sectional sites Brookfield central division to sectional for. Can you run down got the one seed in all week through. Okay sounds good out of one CP walking to receive new program Eisenhower receive Whitner. Four seat Kemper memorial. Spicy greens they don't succeed Lou Pearlman one or seventy billion UH. Seats self Milwaukee. Nine she walked Cristian worked trend sheet credited eleven sheet Milwaukee class ski and twelve seats and Hampton looks. So the Pirates got the once he congratulations on that might it's been a really good. Yes. You know things are home. You know we got into an in the right direction doctor out of my kit and yeah I don't know why all the children of the number one he's meant and I grouping itself you know itself. Soft grouping but you know I thought we want to I want to. Yeah I agree with that hey we had camps Roni on the last hour and he's now coaching. For his father played for his dad. I'm wondering the the how's it going for you coach your son everything going OK. Yeah where you know we have are good days and bad as we keep working at it you know we yeah. We do a lot more talking off the court to ball making sure things are on the court where. Our own on the open not far out things seem to be going normal pattern or something is that you know. Could go better on offense but you know it's been a pleasure. You know he's not nice to performers and constant jewelry. On you know culturally. And he and I talked to him about you know him Cogent kitten. You know one thing's certain should sure they'll really enjoy it because it goes real fast and yeah you know here we are the end of his juniors is it's going quick you know. You know their when I close my son Matthew Mike there's a book called coaching their sons that coats take up and dodge who were a little while ago. And now it's in it's an older book but it's still available on Amazon.com. And I would highly recommend. Anybody coach in their sons. Two picked apple cup because it's too it's just it's she's still truthful. It's that good the bad and the really ugly stories throughout the state it was Dotson of guys who have who have. Your families have been broken up or guys that go through the best through four years of my coaching career. And I would recommend dud that book coaching or Suns would I have learned from it the most is once we got the kitchen table. He was my son. But until we got to that used by point guard. And so after games he goes wanna get used mom's car and get home and try to get in the kitchen table threw for like its staff who have. But once we got the kitchen table like tried my hardest not to what talk to you have too much about. Yeah why he made that pats are white threw that ball over. We talked about school work and about life so that would be the recommendation that I would. Give you I hear nothing but good things about your son not only to player but as a kid so congratulations on that. They'll thank you very much for the kind words yet he didn't I don't look at. I'm very very proud of warm. And you know it's actually you know I'd like after he can opt court that we talk about you know the college game colon to the players and you know we talk about who's who's better mood and I don't in the NBA so nothing's gone while. You know he's got a bright future and not you know. I'm excited and you know our team is doing also. You do one more game in the Portland here against Rogers went in them. Through the tournament. A bite big slapper couple minutes elected to walk you Pirates. Thank you certain amount you bet it's might be silly. His his dad was the coach a mess for years and anxious to beat good guys. And does good that's what coach in his own right that should work let's get to break we are joint CL Whiteside. Cystic coach at Wisconsin Luther you know a lot of time it's segment 34 to talk CL about his career at Wisconsin Lutheran. And I would talk to him about. You know what makes it assistant coach and a whole bunch of stuff. Next segment we will talk team achieves the head coach at Kraft for a couple minutes find out a little bit about their seed and we're where they're the where they waved it. Revive its state fair park it is the Milwaukee near spring home improvement show stopped by to get a chance. I'm joined by CO Whiteside. The assistant basketball coach at Wisconsin we've been high school. We're also joined the fold by team achieves that that's what coach at crafted. We just left his CD meeting and update and then got the one in two and three seed. Coach are you doing today. Outgrow Mike are you cool I'm doing really good and we do really good us graph to do what you guys playing good. All right one article it wouldn't hurt our our order that otherwise though we're we're outward we're at right Barrett. Yes he burst off and that's a good basketball team yet they are here although with Rick not with a beer. He god give me an idea if he can't run you run down. Who got what seed in the in the Euro regional. Be prepared book award you're perk would do. Round here every vehicle weight or. We were five limit what picked. Weapon where the seven or 38. Lingered. What watched it and he watched them eleven. And number walk he's not 10. So that you line up with whom we you know open up would wolf we know Milwaukee that. Which was here and he argued over the one seed with cedar Bergen Beaver Dam. You know what are now part of moving between the not ever experience to our about you know old act great point. Are you could go either way in my or your like I just felt that maturity. Felt like be prepared that a little bit vulnerable resonate it visit it's it's the be all year so you don't want to go way. You do what this does right it gives town Dieter chip on the shoulder. Of course I got Ecuador what he buried a better coach art oh he's you know what he you would use that from now. Until there do that if they get knocked out of it when the state championship. There's no doubt he did so the once used beaver damn choose Hubert three rounds here you'll Roger stern to play pretty well. And that's a team that's had a lot of success in the past that. I wouldn't sleep but I wouldn't sleep but Kelly apple be in that group of grown here. If I'm there if I'm playing those cuts. Not ground they're really good I mean they've got car laid back you know I cool to have good guard. You know you can roll off our way they've got really good guards and their cue ball well you know rock they. Are those duties are accurate you got a lot of goods mean any of the a lot of beer competition. It in the city with me is CL Whiteside says the coach at Wisconsin Lutheran. And I know that. That that his goal I would assume and I have an estimate goes via coach one day correct. What kind of but advice did you give CL. This is that young man targeted coach Walt. Just a great great young man around the school. Desert TV is he's cystic coach on the varsity side. And it's the kind of guy that would be great to run a program what kind of advice would you give him. As he's looked good over it take to move six inches who left on the bench. Yeah eight yards or did you. Good I'm a big divide them what they did you learn. As much as possible soak everything yeah it's that much awful Apple's plan ready. You not being expect come when you have a player race knocked it out or was it. Off the court you know what you're quiet. Or attack it every situation. And we're booted a program LP lot bigger bite. If you're on organized. You know not really keeper successful organization. Is huge in vital. Hey coach you why you left that the high school rates went to the college ranks and now back to the high school. Great if for young assistant coaches who think that the be all and all this to coach in in college. What what would you say that's. I would say do your homework or any situation fumble one. Major part of your family you're not that he. They have a lot of it will work. Out into the great level was great you know to get back in the recruiting. I'll. But you have to be culpable with what will be best you just think oh great family and other cult or what that's going to be put your family. And so you do peppered of the that your research on every situation. They coach thank you for that and I know that that CL white sexes think he's well good luck in the playoffs. And as always I appreciate your time. And I've told you this in person just one of my favorite people so I'm really glad your back in our area and duck grafted made a great decision bringing you back. Thank Mike and our record there you've vet said you have a great day. They see a win win when he this is infuses the big big time college basketball player. Was the athletic director and always best but coach at notre Bradford. And he had to stream that you wanted to coach in college he coached in college for one on. And that he had a chance come back to Wisconsin and take over crafted program. And he did that and he said you know. The college part. Was usable typical Miree. It has kids he said if I was single it it it it would have been probably a little bit easier but I still don't know fight a wooded enjoyed it. Your if you will get into this the next few seconds with she's unite but but your dream when you play it that it includes right. You're you're you're hap hazard and game. In game for me would be high school coach. Does from the standpoint of of seeing different college coaches going to Steven's point and see about human yeah and in his family didn't know them a little bit. How much she's on the road and how much work in time he's actually been in is absolutely amazing. And I don't know if that's necessarily the type of commitment that I want to make inning as far as that the role model and be in a minter. I think it's little easier to influence high school vs vs college age students were pretty much set in stone and who they are as a person and their character to go Chris Garrett. Yes great young man. Well but he's he do he came to work in last night and Martin Luther and curious here it was his stepbrother. Plays for us. And I keep down we just go to church together for a set Baptist Church. And came down sat down next be in big spots no doubt smile and it's it's still white sets coming up much oh tell me about it. And I thought he'd go right into coach gene in he said in our school. This is that this is a man who gets it and understands a lot of things and how we need to all of it together as community. And he used reuse the really well respected in our school that's a really nice man. And I was thrown by that Krista quite got. And I thought he would immediately go win Q this is this is. What he is as a coach he never once talked about that. CL so Q what what you're doing in school keep that up thank because you've touched this young this kid. Never didn't hesitate he stood tight but this guy that great stuff he's doing so that's awesome what is your role that that was gutsy move. My role from about most of where you know let's let's say teaching first for teaching he took a couple physical education classes and in our runner room called the resource and we're students who need extra help are actually assistants have come to me. To get that extra match you know where science so we're figure out how to study partner to us something about it too good for you. You're given back you know definitely after you you went to was cuts we've had good at so it suit. The old thinking you go home again you can't write you can't manage it to be known to have its you'd be home right tell you went 20 we only got a minute for it to break. You went to walk. From a stats with you went played football at Stevens Point are you yeah I thought when we talked on the phone at such a few big linemen and you're you're just got back right. Yeah yeah it would it would that you played Stevens Point running back and slot back yeah. Quick you know after the and I could care yet you better be you better be exercise you coached football with those winters well yes I'm on. Varsity office coordinator eyes and it's gone bad so at that team that I was that I was on the sidelines on either by 24. Matt that could that I touch workers here say though he never said a word at church. And I thought he's a captain AQ he didn't never says it oh he's vocal you know music good captain for you yet he understands when the talking when there. When to make a statement right that's me that's what makes him so effective that the kids always listen to him and I definitely respect them. That you would get some kind of walk with them we've. You know what was impressive to beat you guys to which you do. And it didn't matter you were down quite a bit beginning you just stuck with the game plan you which you do and and by the end of the game. Thank you all did they. You would wore out their defense applied it your running back. I could've ran through superb. Somebody could rent on those holes but what goes way back through that OT teams and Bryan Corbin meant he's a tough kid special special. Yeah he is special and you guys wore them down that won that game. That was a fun. Award ceremony at the end those kids to it that I enjoyed it because they were so happy get that win. What he enjoyed more coach Pope or that's bored or whatever season this Basque. Are probably is my favorite but there's a different dynamic to it to football because you get to work with some anymore man and it's easier to please kids in football. Because they have a design and designated role. You know Miami can't get men say I want to run the ball in your role was to block you know listed to throw the ball to the quarterback right with a lot easier to identify Rose and football but. Basket by into it that the challenge of getting everybody to try to buy in and be on the same page for sure it's hard is that it is. You ever know that you had to take classes to be Dr. Phil before you were bats while Cote actually I do what you went out as planned some of our players would have. Emotional and how they'll call me your text me you know have to figure like man. On the phone Billick this you read that I was Mecca. We're gonna. Two more segments you and I got a ton of questions for you dumb alert some stuff you know an up and hopefully I'm an old assistant coach Smith objected he threw figured Hughes while. But skewed set to break UCL Whiteside. And I understand now why coach Walz said the things he said about you and this has been so far repress. Don't blow that snapped CL Whiteside assistant coach at Wisconsin Lutheran where you get to break this is the Wendy's. RC puts high school that's what coaches show presented. By your local tickets they've stores on its portrait you one of 57 at them. The fans. Yeah. There. This. Welcome back to the Wendy's varsity with high school basketball coaches show. Present by your local pick it saves stores we're live at the 55 annual Milwaukee Neary spring home improvement show at state fair park. We're at the end of I'll 15100 your head now another half hour so. I'm joined it. By CL Whiteside assistant coach at Wisconsin Lutheran and very impressed with with this young man as I look cancer role do you Bryant that I've known for one time he chooses to coaches around with be the first hour. This the first time I've met CO Whiteside and he is. You'll be a head coach one day and it it will ever decides to make him the head coach should be proud to have him as an ambassador. For his program or for their program sealed. As we get older we talked but this government school up here. I get more more frustrated with with with kids attitudes its social media's I think as a big impact. On these kids know what they're averaging before they get the locker room after the game coach through and I wonder Reid not that far removed from playing in. Still get frustrating for you is definitely still frustrating. From that standpoint. But I tried make sure I have all the same avenues of them have the snaps that I have this program I have Twitter. It is pretty much is trying to break down to them in the seat of the picture and I think there's so much pollution. That they here and there constantly listening to a they have to scored as many points they have to be this type of player does this a Mimi aids. And is a two you have to almost put yourself on the pedestal and they wanna beat you get exposure. When really you're exposing that things a lot of times this is trying to relay that message to him get in the see the big picture and see five years five to ten years down the road for sure. You know the program that sure in this is to coach at Wisconsin Lutheran Paul wall or seven and I coach of Paula Martin Luther used to be my cohost. And off the year when we talked about programs. We talked about the best programs. Coach Walz that was that's with and we put on this beat so it's we think that you guys do things the right way and you know what. Looking at schedules and he doesn't shy away from playing everybody has never and end when he was in a couple years go made a comment that's it looked at a mind moves and I don't. As long as we learned something from it he's have been worse than they can happen is we lose and we over the by. And so now it's just the walks and that's stuck with me when he said that because it was like what its coaches and its players. And trying to build the program as for trying to do Martin Luther. We kind of learned from guys like coach Walz. Learn from his father I think he played efforts by the right up by different ones bother you know I get to coach them without a did the coach with the possum sat. I I coast against the stat. And I never really talked to home so I didn't know him and then have brought him in studio. He's waived funnier than that not happen. He's he's really doubtful anything yet and loves the game of basketball and they built this program it it was starts and Lutheran that. From if you're outside of that bubble I don't know when you're inside the public you understand how much respect theorists for that program. But outside in that circles I run in. Met your program is top nuts thinking yeah I do learn a lot definitely especially from nose to the words of wisdom and I'm constantly didn't. And does more so just watching you watch and you see what they do their attention to detail their preparation. You can take so much away from that for sure and I'm a past and the and try to figure out what I can take from them and make it to my own personality. As it then you'll be great passbook which Roth thieves men with the that's a reason we do this coach's corner. And we ask college coaches to give us one church steeple ruled they do every debt. Every gate because it's almost like oh do clinic were all taken notes and steal and stuff all the time. And now every week they're coming out at saint hope you don't what I took that Shell drill. From this other coach but I made in my own here's what I've done with a and then we take that in and try to make in our own. You're. What's the time like you'd think for you. When will you be ready to start replied maybe for a jobs. The time line. I mean I can I can do it now from that standpoint look at what the timeline I'm not really worried about because when it to happen it'll happen. Thought that my big thing is just keep prepare myself and tried to carry myself as a head coach. Because if I wait until Lama head coaches that's pretty much too late that is too late and I think that's a coach Tim said you know be prepared for everything. We have talked about your face earlier in the and it's very strong you're strong in your fate that and I would assume that. In your belief and in in my belief that when the board has the door open for use when you get it gives stepped through it. Most true yes good for you well that's that's awesome let's talk if we can't because we didn't get a chance where their college coach talk about it steeple to roll. Let me ask you this in in your world to you that JV coaches while I am. Make your busy. Right that's what it'd be best the way to be is your stable drill that you do. On it daily basis with the JV team at Wisconsin Lutheran that you share with us. Lately I've created like a fast break to lowland three on two type material but instead of being continuous. Try to have the defense flow so they can understand they don't have five to ten seconds everybody's chasing you down. As one of the big things that I try to incorporate do every every practice we get so many transition opportunities and really want to be. Excellent in that aspect and in another one. Is just working on some type of finish and move every single day every day working on some type of skill work from that standpoint of points veteran finish in have been different different. In his moves that they can go two for sure and getting strong enough youth that. You know you know it's JV coach you get a pretty good feeling. For which kids have a chance to plate the next level and and some kids that might not. And and if you know that how honest you. Come very on it's maybe honest as some of them that they don't know like that. But not the only thing that can kind of thrown off a little bit is if you can't determine if accused of growth before inches. But for the most part you can tell you can look at their worth ethic or you can say hey this is where you act if you do. Wanna be a varsity players you've got to put in a lot more works yeah got to do a lot more room which is doing and you gotta really find out which is strange. I think so many times kids work on their their weaknesses they don't have ride in a five straight though and figure out what can make you special what can make coach Walz would put you in the game but there are some. And even if it's even if it's something as simple as look odd not to let that guy guard get a rebound that. You know I might not score and I might not get a lot of rebounds. But this kid I'm gonna take some pride in this and the kid on garden is not gonna get a rebound that. And at the end of the game you look up my mind and that might be one for three and I might have 234. Points. And only a couple of rebounds but watch the tape. Because you know what that kind of leads them in rebounds and he did he get four on me and that's it. Kids I don't think kids understand that you know I I think kids get more phrased it frustrated they're not get enough shots from that that's. Although over right yep those are the glue guys that you have to really make sure that you praise when you get a chance the highlight certain things are going on film you. You make sure you highlighted so they can understand what you do and so valuable to the team and it might not be something that. The rest of the fans can see who they don't know what's going on but coaches definitely can identify and see. Your players and teammates appreciate that it less question for a get through break how important our wins for you when the cheap you level that was that's Luther. It's important from the standpoint we want to do with the right way. We want to do it so that did that we're getting better and you want him to get hungry and understand how to win. But I always tell them I'm not gonna win at any cost yeah I'm not then oh puts you in the game if you have a bad attitude I'm not gonna allow you to do whatever you want. If if that means we're gonna win or two to talk to ref a certain way so it when it comes out that I want to win I want to do both out how to do it the right way and I wanna. And develop them to get ready to play at the next level. Judge you run the same stuff that the horse to death we run allowed in the sense yeah but that he's gives you a little bit of freedom runs over yourself. That's good I think that's the way it should be let's get to break other said the prequel wrap this show up CL Whiteside if you don't know him. It knowing I know Mel. Keep that name because one day you'll be seeing head coach CL whites I got a feeling about that use an assistant coach at Wisconsin Lutheran. And use the TV coasters well this is the Wendy's varsity puts high school basketball coach show presented by your local picked it safe stores. I've sports Radio One 057 at them. The fans. I've joined by CL Whiteside he's ahead JV coach. And assistant varsity coach at Wisconsin Lutheran hey you go from football. Right in the basketball that's tough you know it's I editor. Notice it. It's a new scenery so yeah changes a new look fluent. You go to tracker anything they don't track so you give little time off we'll entire state of Florida slower. There you go in the way rumors that. Well we could program there to those. You get a good team coming back we do. Had to put some things together but people stop both backs are gone right OT king and we'll be both quarterback quarterback is. Hopefully we can reload not rebuild yeah we do conference. You comfort item that for sure yet that's that is exciting for some guys that so much travel that those those trips doesn't know Hillary to have swinger. I that Deaver yeah I'd like to you then what's that get their. It seems like it takes three days it I've talent yet and plus with a bunch of football players know things. I owed beats you guys out there how have definitely reach out there here you starting to develop. Or -- plan as far as that off year but a but not off the court but on the court. What once you. Once you get your own program. What's your core beliefs are as far as defense and an offense or do you would you view coats and we'll we'll we'll cheats dip and then your personnel. I think I'll change about depend on the personnel. Most familiar with what man and then know for sure defensively. And in offensively. Some type of motion. Four out winning process yeah was sir mud by the ball movement you know yeah it's. That's a lot of people are going to that in and just making sure that that to petty that if teams are gonna switch screens that. Take advantage of that if they're trying to go through news reader rotten by you get to your shots. This team that tell your coach of the varsity team stats Luther. Played really well right now I'd you've made a comment to me. During breaks in what we're at our best. When we have 45 guys or tenth fourteen points and that rates rather than having once scored thirty yet and the rest scored three kids bought into that. Yes we I think they figure out that's just not us. We can't survive or we can't win and be at our best if you have one person trying to score thirty points. We have a bunch of guys who can exploit mismatches there and take advantage. The way to keep it as planned dependent on how they're being guarded I think they've definitely bought in because they wanna have the most success and they definitely wanna win. What your your regionals tough. Washington got the one highest got the two. You guys got that three. Wild social west at the fort social West Coast east at the five. You know I've seen white fish bait and and I've seen him when they're playing good that seem when they're playing bad it ethic eat. To test a tough regional. That is you guys are afraid of that though not afraid definitely don't respect everything we come across never afraid of executive that. We we got to make sure that. That what we do with with this getting. Getting prepare to was to play in the in the playoffs is it different feeling than playing you know regular season. Is got to be ready each and every game because if you lose you go home you go home you always coaches we never looked he had. Rose worked in Manhattan and our players does talent. Most telling these guys I was telling these guys that I had before you that I was telling these kids before that we used due to Rose. A for teams that were played in the playoffs and they thought we're Q which rules the teams that we played at the end so. He goes got to make sure that your you're ready and for for teams like walked you watched it buys. So C East Coast west is let's get ready it is a lot to get ready for a below will be up but its out interest or are you guys predate GB guys up for that for. I don't believe we will yeah sometimes we do that sometimes it is sometimes you don't it's that's hard it's always good to have those kids understand how hard it is. For varsity practiced the speed you know the size. Hey guys tight it's been a pleasure. Very pressed to Q when you come back anytime you want I don't take up on that offer and you know what I think there's a whole lot of different things that we talk about because I think. You know we're we're different ages your younger guy we don't live we live about four miles apart. We talked a little bit about the city at some of these who united in the city we can figure out if we can Jason worlds right definitely. He had to change our world first keep up the good work for every Chris pierce picked fifth. You're good guy he is the assistant coach act. Wisconsin Lutheran big guts. What do we think that you guys played more he Morse or sled thing right is that going to get who is that north. Oh yeah I'm watching Dirk division. Yeah I get to may be Clarkson won that one he scored about fifty games good luck with that you guys have figured out you'd see UCL Whiteside.
